Rondi Adamson
I find writing difficult, at times. But it remains, for me, a way to use my voice, in particular when I wish to stand up for the voiceless.”
– Rondi Adamson
Rondi Adamson is a writer, teacher and friend to the animals.
She is the co-author of “Love to All, Norm: A Canadian Soldier’s Letters Home from the Second World War” – a collection of letters and poems written by her uncle, who died in battle in 1944 – and a contributor to “Never Again: Allies Speak Out Against Antisemitism” – a collection of essays and poems written in the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 attacks against Israel.
She has been a weekly columnist at the Ottawa Citizen and Toronto Star and a contributor to many newspapers and magazines, including the Wall Street Journal and Christian Science Monitor.
She has been a teacher in Canada and far afield (Japan, Turkey, France).
A 25-year volunteer in animal rescue, Rondi advocates for animals with her writing (including published columns and unpublished books) and occasionally by pontificating to others when they didn’t ask for it.
