Nizar Ladak

Nizar Ladak is a proud Canadian with a 33-year career in healthcare and post-secondary education.

Having been a CEO twice, he also held roles as a CIO, COO, and EVP before turning his leadership lessons into literary guidance in his first book.

His experiences as a racialized individual growing up in Toronto, Canada and navigating the challenges of rising through the ranks serve as the source for his writing.

Winner of Canada’s Top 25 Immigrants and the Leaders and Legends Distinguished Service Award from his alma mater the University of Toronto, the maxim that guides Nizar’s life is a Rising Tide Lifts all Boats.
