Ruopeng An is the Constance and Martin Silver Endowed Professor in Data Science and Prevention at New York University.
A faculty member since 2013, he has taught, mentored researchers, and served on doctoral admissions committees at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Washington University in St. Louis, and NYU. He holds a PhD in Policy Analysis from Pardee RAND Graduate School and brings an international applicant’s perspective to academic life.
His books include Building an AI-Ready University (Routledge, 2026). His forthcoming books with Sutherland House Experts explore how people enter academia, find support, and navigate the power that shapes their futures.
